A Fun Start On October

October is here....one of my favorite months.  The leaves are changing quickly..the poison ivy on the bottom pic is in full red bloom!  I'll be decorating for Halloween, taking walks in the crisp fall air, eating apples from local growers, and hopefully enjoying family time.  The month will speed by.  I'm so happy to have today off from work and earlier this morning I took a walk with my friend Donna. It was so fun to walk, talk, and enjoy the scenery.   Today is a big day for someone very special in our lives.  This special kiddo is four today!

That would be our little Addy (licious!) We celebrated yesterday.  She had her favorite dinner...spaghetti, and a beautiful cake....
The table was set in pink deliciousness and the food was wonderful.  My Daughter-in-law Amanda did a super job of making all the fixings.
She received many wonderful gifts, but I'm betting this little guy..Sammy...was her favorite. She's wanted a kitty for a long time and she was so excited to finally get this guy.
One of her gifts is a night light that has the patterns shine on the ceiling when turned on. I happened to notice her big sis Lexi checking it out and the stars made a cool design on her sweet face!
The candles were lit....the Happy Birthday song was sung...
She blew them out and just after I snapped this pic she said: "I love all of you!"...She's a smile disguised as a little girl!
The frosting on the end of the candle will never be as sweet as  you...Happy Birthday Addy!

What a lovely way to describe this special one's birthday.
Love the photos too.
Always enjoy what you share.
I too love fall. My very favorite time of year. Love the fall leaves, love the crisp air and the juicy red apples.
Blessings!

Addy looks so very happy. I think that she love her new friend. What a beauty and that smile is pricy.

Happy Birthday Addy and happy October to you Yaya.

By the size of the table, it looks like there was quite a crowd for the celebration. I love her cool cake.

Is there anything more sweet than a 4 yr. old?!
So nice that the entire family could celebrate her together - important memories in the making!!

Loved your Fall photos. Isn't it weird that poison ivy is so beautiful?!

She is a cute little smiler. :) I saw a huge beautiful red tree yesterday and on closer inspection realized it was all poison ivy too. So funny, but beautiful.
