Yesterday/Today

Yesterday...The warmer temps from this past week melted all the snow and ice. I even headed up to the creepy woods with a spring in my step and was pleased to find no snow up here either! I'm really glad I enjoyed the day and the trek because Mother Nature had some surprises in store.
Today...Big juicy flakes quickly cover the backyard all the way up to the tree line..which has the creepy woods right behind it!
Yesterday...Sedum covered in snow just a few days earlier is happy to show itself to a warmer, sunny day.
Today...the drive up to the front of the house may need shoveling before nightfall.
Yesterday...Bulbs are bursting green shoots out to greet the sun.
Today...the side yard is quickly becoming a winter wonderland...again.
And finally...Yesterday I made this roast chicken and Jack thought it looked really good and also "blog worthy"...yep it looked great yesterday...But it wasn't eaten until today!

I wish I was there too... Mainly because of the chicken! Just so you know, I have not forgot your painting. ;)

What a difference a day makes. The chicken looks tasty - I opted for pork loin roast, Not bad.
I am intrigued by "the creepy woods". Makes me giggle - I hate the woods at night too.

I can't even tell you how hungry the picture of your roast chicken made me! I could almost smell it. Snow or not, where you live is so pretty. I kind of like the creepy woods, but maybe I like them better from inside the house!

I was thinking about this myself, as I was scraping 2 inches worth of freezing rain and snow off my car after work...we just had a spring teaser...I hope we don't have a snow day tomorrow!

It's been in the 70's here in south GA the last few days. Everybody thinks spring has sprung. I do think, however, we may have some more cold weather before it's over. This has been a really weird 12 months of weather here....last summer was almost unbearably hot and this winter was colder than normal. I just would like some in between! Yummy looking chicken!

Went to Chel's tonight in white-out conditions!! Really, it was a blizzard!! The roads were awful. You'll have to post again tomorrow and take another pic of that driveway. Please clear it before I come over for chicken,...yum!!!!!!

I love that pic at the top! Did you take that? It's like the glories from Heaven streaming down! You oughta dig a hole at the bottom of that stream of sunlight and see if there is a pot of gold there!
