Almost The End

In one week October will be done...I can't believe it!  I do love this time of year.  The final bits from our garden are in.
Maybe we pulled this one a bit early:
The trees are doing a final dance this weekend.  I'm sure by this time on Halloween they will be mostly bare.
Dogwoods are red.
Oranges and yellow on the side of yard.
The oak tree turned brownish yellow almost overnight and the trees near the Creepy Woods are trying to give a final blaze of color.  Maybe I'll just have to make more creepy things instead of going to the Creepy Woods.  Things like this:
A pack of spiders perhaps?  Or maybe a yummy pie would be perfect.
Hey, I think my new diet is working! Although I do understand the camera adds 10lbs! Yep, it's Halloween week!

I think I need that diet you are on :) So cute with the donuts! I liked the tree pictures; ours here are just starting to turn colors so I would imagine another month before they are completely off the trees. It is a fun week ahead with Halloween indeed :)

Hi, YaYa! Please don't take this the wrong way, dear friend, but I think you could use a little more meat on your bones. :) Thanks for showing us images of fall's final fling at the Pines and the Creepy Woods. I can picture the Sasquatch so inspired by the gorgeous colors that he sits on a tree stump for hours each day writing poetry. It's a shame Squeak isn't with you this H-ween to pose for scary pictures. Mrs. Shady and I will be traveling to Alabama to visit family in a couple of weeks and hope to see autumn splendor along the way and while staying with them at their home in the mountains.

Have a wonderful week ahead, dear friend YaYa!

I would so enjoy seeing those gorgeous fall colors. At least this weekend we got lots of good rain,Mobutu unfortunately, some places were really pounded. Happy Fall! :-)

Oops! Mobutu is not a real word, is it? It was supposed to be but unfortunately.

Oh, you funny thing!
That tiny carrot...that will make me giggle at work all day and people will wonder why! How can I tell them that a carrot makes me laugh?

Great sense of humor with the skeleton there.
Love those Donut spiders.

Thanks for visiting Lenny's blog. He has been sick lately. Since he is very young and has cancer, it is not easy for him to deal with his head aches. I pray for him and encourage as much as I can.
