Hello Deer
Some visitors showed up this afternoon...They were very interested in my raspberry stalks...I was very interested in seeing them leave! (I took these shots from my livingroom window, hence the grainy screen!) One other thing that has left is yesterday's snow! The other thing leaving is Jack and I! For a few days anyway....We're heading out to see our Son and his family in Oregon. So I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and I'll be back next week with some pics...Of course I will take pics, are you kidding? I'm a proud YaYa and there are 3 wonderful Grandkiddos just waiting to be hugged! I'll just "leave" it at that!

Oh no! You definitely don't want them in your raspberries! Have fun in Oregon -- I bet those kids are excited!!
When I was a boy my family vacationed during the summer at a log cabin in the mountains of Northern Pennsylvania. My dad rigged a camera outside the bedroom with a string attached. At night, deer came close to the cabin to feed on apples scattered on the ground and when my dad heard them chewing he'd pull the string, set off the flash and take pictures. They turned out remarkably well.
I hope you have a safe trip to Orgeon. You're bound to encounter milder weather out there and I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your grandkiddos. I look forward to seeing your pics and learning more about your delightful family. Take care, dear friend YaYa!

Beautiful creatures. I love seeing deers but they can also be a nuisance in the vegetable garden.
