Here's just a small example of the crowd and wares and of course Stacy! After the show we headed back to her place so she could help me with a video I'm doing for work. I've compiled a few pics over the year and even some old ones I dug up...like this one:
I'm the one on the left...Donna on the right...in 1983. She was pretty close to delivery with Chelsea and I was about 3mo. pregnant with Jordan. There were 6 of us pregnant in surgery that year! Crazy! I put together the photos and Stacy helped me to put them to music and add some text and hopefully everyone will like what I did and get laughs, good memories, and an appreciation of what we do on a daily basis. I wanted to get it done last week but ran out of time. Last week was perioperative nurse week. It's also the 100th year anniversary of our hospital . I'm presenting it this week at our weekly inservice and I'm serving breakfast too...so everyone is welcome to come! A big thank you to Stacy for taking so much time and effort to help me out and I have your "thank you" gifts Stac! The rest of the time was spent running the usual errands and Church time on Sunday that involved an hour drive to Stake Conference. Before we left we caught Eddy the boxer in this pose:
Looking wistfully with his paw under his chin no less! What was he wishing?
To go outside I think! That's the backyard and he was intently gazing out there until he realized he was being photographed.
Then I got this look...it says "Please can't we go for a walk into the Creepy Woods?" That had to wait until much later!
Before the weekend is truly over and this special day ends, I want to say another big THANK YOU to our Veterans. This is Veteran's day and I'm so thankful to all who have served our fantastic country. Men like my brothers Phil and Greg who served in Vietnam and super cool men like my Dad who served in WWII. I sure wish he was still here so I could tell him in person. I miss him everyday. Dad, you were always my hero!

Oh, I love a good craft show and it's been a long time since I've been. Maybe I will find a good one next weekend. Also, love the pic of your dear dad.
I would love it if you could post that video on your blog after you have presented it at the Hospital.
I love the picture of you and Donna all dressed in white.
Looking at old photos is so much fun.
We have a big yearly craft show in town and the artist are so very creative but every thing is pricy. I just look and drool.... My talented artist and teacher daughter sells her creations and does very well at the Christmas Sales.
Your dad was a handsome man.
We celebrated Remembrance Day here in Canada today and we remember our veteran heros from all the past wars to the present. No school tomorrow because it's the long weekend.
Take care and don't work too hard.
Hugs,
JB
I was happy to help! Thanks for giving me a reason to do something else!
Wow! You've been friends with Donna for a long time! I loved the old pic; I'm sure your presentation will be a hit!
A packed weekend!!! And I'm so grateful to our servicemen. :)
I love all of our heroes.
And I love the fact that you and Donna have been friends for so long!
=)
The video sounds great. I love how your coworkers all seem like such a tight group.
Love love the picture of u and Donna. Like Sue I did not realize you have been friends for so long. How wonderful for you both.
Great post and as always I love coming by here to check on you.
Love ya
Maggie
I enjoyed all of your pictures so much! Your dad's handsome picture was especially nice.
Love that photo of your Dad, he looks so dashing, like a movie star!
Love that picture of you with your friend when you were both pregnant. Did all the women get together later and photograph all the babies?
I could use that mask on my face now...and I don't work in the medical field, I just need it to cover up my face. ha ha!

Your movie was just wonderful. You've found your next profession!! I'm always in awe of the things you think up. Eddie is cute as usual and the pic of your dad reminds me how much you look like him. What a great photo!
What a dashing gent was your Dad. He had a lovely smile. Like my own dear father, he will always be with you in memories and will be the hero of the stories of your past.
Loved the old photo of you and Donna.
And Eddie is as handsome as ever!
I am always so glad to see you when you drop by. My gosh, the days of pregnancy seem a million years ago..and yet yesterday.
It was all so good. Not enough money but otherwise a great time of life.
I hope your video went well. That is something that I need to learn to do too.
Borrowed my daughter's computer for a day or so and trying to catch up as quickly as possible on everyone's news...not a lot of time to go as far back as I'd like but that will have to wait until I'm on my own computer and the luxury of time!
So far still investing in renovation materials as opposed to electronics! Maybe Santa will shimmy down the chimney with a laptop!
What a lovely thing you did for Donna...please give her my love! Looks like you are as busy and loving as always!
Have a lovely Thanksgiving...
Hugs~
