Where Have All The Snow Piles Gone?

Remember all the snow from the previous post? Well, it's gone..done..danada..melted into a memory. Except for this tiny patch that refuses to leave. A memory that will come back to haunt us in the future I'm sure. But for now we've returned to rainy, foggy, damp and dark days.
Dark and damp like this picture. If you look closely you will notice the muddy driveway, the rain in the trees, and another sad sight.
The bird bath in the planting area across the driveway looks like it just gave up and keeled over...almost sadder looking than the chairs covered in snow!

Look what can happen in just five days.....snow is all gone, at least for now. I don't envy you all that mud and slush and hopefully it will dry up soon. Our weather has been a bit crazy this year and I think it has been that way all over the country.

Sad about the bird bath. Hope they can get it all fixed again.

Take care, Kathy, and just enjoy your winter. (I'm just glad it isn't me. I'll take our desert sunshine any day.)

Yes Ma'am, that bird bath surely looks sad. You can sure call 'em.

I am glad the snow here is gone! I am not a winter girl at all, never was! (Well maybe when I was 7!). Thanks for the follow, and I am following you back, but I don't see myself on your GFC? xo

We had weather today that would make you think it was spring...I don't ever remember having this much warm weather in January. There were lots of tornado watches around...thankfully no real bad weather here. My grandmother used to say that when you couldn't tell one season from another that would mean the end of the world was coming. Oh, Lordy...I'm not ready for that!

Poor bird bath - can it be fixed? I don't know what's more trouble - a fresh dumping of snow, or the mud that's left when it melts!

All our snow has melted too. It is rain rain and rain like the clouds were too heavy. The weekend is supposed to be good. We need a good weekend.
The bird bath needs to be picked up. Thanks in advance on behalf of the birds.

Well we are certainly enjoying the mild winter here in southern Ohio. Our first winter on the farm so we are thankful for the reprieve as we settle into life on our new farm. Working in the healthcare field, we both really enjoyed the CPR blog as well.

Yaya, that poor birdbath! Ours hasn't keeled over, but it's leaking so bad it's useless as a birdbath! It has sentimental value (for me) so we haven't replaced it. It's growing moss and actually looks kind of neat, but isn't very good for the birds!

It always feels so mushy after the snow leaves, doesn't it?

Stay warm and dry!
