Come To The Pines

We gather together every October for a small family harvest/Halloween dinner.  In the past we carved pumpkins but this year we just did an outside campfire and weinie roast...come to the Pines and see what we done did!
You'll be greeted by this charming fellow if you can find our lane between the big pine trees.
Follow Jack up the drive...
Don't be frightened  by the crazy haunted house..
However, these cousin monsters might frighten you!
Grab a plate and settle by the fire...what are we having you ask...
Halloween pasta salad with these:
Pasta shapes of spiders, pumpkins and bats of course!
I spy deviled eggs that just might spy back at you...
But these bat icecream sandwiches will delight all ages!
Cameron says YUM!
Beware of sipping the brew from a skull goblet....
Careful by the fire...the smoke might get in your eyes.
Or you might have to go long for a quick pass by Cam and Anthony!
Booooo....you never know...a goblin could pass by!
Wrap up in a blanket...it's chilly tonight!
Handing out Booger candy seemed like a good idea...until a big kid got hold of them!
Be careful to not "get the finger"...the witches finger I mean!
It was a fun afternoon of food, fire, kiddos, big kiddos and a beautiful sunset to go home by...hope you enjoyed your Fall visit to the Pines!

Hahaha!! Booger candy! That's hilarious. You really do know a thing or two about creativity with food and parties. What fun memories you are making with your kids. I love it and I especially like the bat cream sandwiches.

What a gorgeous sunset.

Hi, dear YaYa! I remember your decorations and spooky snacks from last year's Halloween posts and once again this year you put your imagination and creativity to good use. Anyone would be happy to visit the Pines and partake of the mummy...uh...I mean YUMMY food and fun activities. The only thing missing in these pictures was my good fiend...uh...FRIEND Eddy. If Eddy had been there and spotted that strange fellow in picture #1, I'm sure he would have given him the fire hydrant treatment just to show him who's boss. :)

I love to look around your house and grounds, dear friend YaYa. It reminds me of home, something I miss very much. Have a wonderful week, Kathleen!

I always love how you celebrate right to the bones and beyond. All spooky fun anyone can have at the Whispering Pines is the best.

I never saw pasta especially shaped for Halloween. Cool.... Booger candy is hilarious.
Thanks for sharing your fun with us.
Big warm hug for you as it's cold today.

You sure know how to throw a shindig. Just seeing the big kid with the green things up his nose was worth the whole post. LOL!

How fun is your house!?! I need to find that booger candy - my kids would love it! Everything looked so fun and full of love and family. LaMar and I have found a couple of good Greek restaurants nearby and whenever we go to one of them I think of you. Such good food!

Loved all the photos, with exception of the booger candy. I hate all things to do with boogers. Can't even stand the cutest baby with a runny nose. I know, I'm awful. That photo made me gag.
Otherwise, your place looks a ton of fun!!!
