Here We Go Again

I've been a bit MIA. This week Jack had surgery...His 4th in a year.  So I've been hanging out at the hospital like the old days only not getting paid. His surgery took 7 hrs. A long day! He had a ventral Hernia from all the previous surgeries. I kidded that we would get a screen door from Home Depot and put that in! Everything went well and hopefully he'll go home tomorrow.  It was a big surgery and painful but he's hanging in there and being a good patient. So here we go again but hopefully this will be it for, hopefully, ever!

From beginning ....
To this afternoon...A work in progress! Happy first day of October...

Hi, YaYa!

Happy first day of October to you, as well, dear friend! I cringe these days whenever I see headlines like these on a Whispering Pines post, and I am relieved to learn that all is AOK, or at least as good as can be expected, on your side of the screen. Jacks a trouper, and so are you. I feel for Jack having to go through all those long and painful procedures, and it makes me sad knowing that you must endure the torture of the "seats" as you await word from the OR. Jack is looking good and strong, and I hope this is indeed the end of the long line of surgeries he (and you) must face. I hope he goes home tomorrow as planned. I am thinking about your both and wishing you all the best.

Thanks for reporting in, dear friend YaYa. Take care of yourself and Jack and have a good weekend, if not a great one.

Sending healing energy!I have been though I count 6 different abdominal surgeries with my husband so I know how painful and long healing it is.

Ah, poor Jack. I'm glad that he is doing well after surgery. I love your humor. I have some of my own. He should have been a Jack in the box rather than a Jack in surgery. Kidding aside, I wish him a speedy recovery. 7 hours sounds like a very complicated surgery. Wishing him all the best. Hang in there.
Hugs, Julia
