Spring In Chicago

We're taking a quick trip to Chi-town to see Mom and go to my great-neice's first communion. We arrived with lovely sunshine.
Mom was looking lovely also!
Then we heard the winter storm warning...what??!!
This morning..
Tonight...exp expecting 4-7in. of heavy, wet snow.  Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Snows this time of year though don't (hopefully) stay around too long. Your mom looks soooo good! Glad you had a chance to see her and be there for the celebration of your grand niece's first communion.

Hi, YaYa!

It's great to see a post from you, dear friend! I'm happy to see that you were able to put something together during your trip to Chicago. Blessings to your great-niece on her first communion. I have made the same comment about your mother for the last 25 years or more. :) She is, as Rod Stewart sang, "ageless, timeless," and always looks fit as a fiddle. Thanks for posting that great picture of her.

WHAT? More fickle spring weather? I smell a rat. I think it's actually sunny and 85 degrees in Chi-town and mischievous YaYa electronically enhanced pictures of your mother's property using the "Blizzard" app. :) I'm thinking maybe you should change your header from a spring blossom to Frosty the Snowman! :)

Thanks for reporting in from Chicago. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a safe trip back to Ashland, dear friend YaYa!

I hope the snow won't spoil your visit with your mon. She looks so happy.
Take care and safe travel.
Hugs, Julia
