Just A Bit "Wonky"

Do you ever have those times when the universe is feeling off  kilter?  When things just seem to be happening and you want to yell:  "Jesus, take the wheel!"    The basement leak has been a pain because after 2 visits to fix it, the leak is still there..smaller for sure, but still dripping.  I know that's not earth shattering, horrible but it's like a stone in my shoe..very irritating.   I was out weeding last week and found some unexpected poison ivy and then it found it's way to my eye and some spots here and there.  I usually don't get a real horrible reaction but I've never had it so close to my eye...another stone in my shoe I guess.  My car's air conditioner is being replaced.  Not for free that's for sure! Now I'm up to 3 stones in my shoe.  Work last week..especially Friday was like a boulder in my shoe!  When someone asked how my cases were going I said we were somewhere between hell and despair.   Today we had a case that went not as expected and I was really thinking I had a black cloud over my head!  But the real issue is my dear Mom is in the hospital.  After tests and things they think they have her bleeding problem under control but Mom is 92 and nothing is easy.  My wonderful sister is with her at the hospital day and night.  I don't know how she manages to do it all and I feel bad I'm here and not there.  But hopefully Mom will be home soon so say some prayers for her...I know they will be heard and answered.  So I will stop my complaining and go to bed.  Things usually look better in the morning.  Last week I snapped  a pic of that black cloud and perhaps that's why I'm on the "wonky" side of life!
Weird looking clouds..
Scary looking too!

Never had poison ivy. My mom never had it either until she was 55 then she got it every year and got it bad even if she just passed by the stuff. She took some medicine which helped. I stay clear if I see it.

Will say a prayer for your mother! Those were interesting cloud pictures, maybe look next time for one with a silver lining :)

Can only hope things go better, right?

Hi, YaYa!

When you woke up this morning I hope things seemed better. You have several stones in your shoe, and yet you heroically do what we all must do - walk on. I am terribly sorry to learn that your dear mother is hospitalized. I offer prayers for her speedy and complete recovery and a return to the familiar surroundings of her home. When I was a boy, I routinely came down with nasty cases of poison ivy. One time I contracted it merely from walking through the smoke of a brush fire in which ivy leaves were burning. I wound up with both eyes nearly swollen shut. A continuous leak drives me batty. I hope you can get it stopped soon.

I hope life steadily improves in the hours and days ahead and those dark clouds dissipate, leaving only sunshine and blue skies above your head. Bless you, dear friend YaYa!

Oh poor you, I feel bad that things are wonky for you lately. I've had days like that at the barn sometimes when one thing after another happens like dominos. It's a good thing that there are new tomorrows. I had such a bad day like that last Saturday where I didn't know in which direction to go first. I guess it's good that I can prioritize.

I'm sorry that your mom is in the hospital. She's a fighter and I'm sure she will be OK but at her age, it's always worrisome. Let's hope for the best and I'll keep her in my prayers.

I hope the leak gets fixed properly. I bet they charge you an arm and a leg to try to fix it.

Wishing you a good week.
Hugs, Julia

As they say when it rains, it pours. Hope all your wonkers get fixed, and you have a ray of sunshine. My thoughts and prayers for your mom. I know the feeling not being there because you live somewhere else. That was my cloud. Let us know how "mom" is doing.

Hang in there! That might be a black cloud but it makes for beautiful photos.
Praying for your beautiful Mom. I know it is hard since you are not with her.
Keep the faith!

I have certainly had my share of days/weeks when literally nothing seemed to be right in my world! NOT a good feeling, but as you said things do get back. "This too shall pass." Praying your mother is all better soon. My mama will be 90 next month...she has good days and bad days but doing much better than many her age as she still lives on her own. Also praying you will have a better week next week.

Things always look better in the morning, and sometimes we just have to tuck ourselves in early to help deal with things a little easier. I turn things into such a mess when I'm overtired.
I pray your Mom is feeling better soon. Getting old is a beautiful thing, but it is so very hard. Hugs to you,
Andrea

Can I just say what a relief to seek out somebody who really is aware of what theyre speaking about on the internet. You positively know how to deliver a problem to mild and make it important. Extra people have to read this and perceive this aspect of the story. I cant consider youre no more fashionable since you undoubtedly have the gift. casino games

I’m impressed, I have to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you may have hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the problem is one thing that not enough persons are talking intelligently about. I am very blissful that I stumbled throughout this in my search for something referring to this. online casino slots
