A Sit Down Tour

The weekend has flown by as usual.  I realized I was a bit behind in blogging so I took a tour of the Pines to see how things are progressing. Spring will officially be over in a few weeks and I know Summer will go as quickly.   So have a seat:
The red chairs are ready....come see what I found.
My feathered friends have left the nest..I saw the last one to leave the other day..I'm hoping they are snuggled in the pine trees somewhere...Good job Momma Robin!
Roses are blooming.
Window boxes overflowing.
Impatience patiently waiting for Summer.
Birdbath in the hosta garden is full from the torrential rain this morning!
Tomatoes are happy campers from the torrential rain this morning!
We just might get a few blueberries this year
The Creepy Woods is dark and lush.  Took a walk up there and the smell of the wet earth and quiet, except for chirping birds, was soothing.
The pool is also waiting...for some warm days to enjoy it! Days only in the 60's and 40's at night does not make for pleasant splashing!
The angels in the garden are praying for a colorful season ahead..and..
Whoooooooooo can blame them! Thanks for visiting with me!

We have had a couple of nice days. But not a long enough stretch to warm the water up.

Very pretty at The Pines. Don't feel bad, it's not pool weather here yet either. (Far from it) lol

Hi, YaYa! My goodness, dear friend, Whispering Pines is exploding with life and color! Those red chairs look inviting. I can picture myself sitting in one of them, drinking club sodas with lime wedges and becoming Eddy's new best friend by petting, scratching and massaging him for hours. I've been dogless nearly a year now and I miss that kind of affectionate contact.

Hooray for the Robin family! I'm so glad nature ran its course and all the young ones have left the nest. I predict you'll soon spot them hopping around the yard poking the damp soil for worms.

All your flowers look lovely and I like the way you have that birdbath nestled among the lilies.

Mrs. Shady has been harvesting tomatoes, squash, cukes, string beans, radishes, herbs and other edibles from her veggie garden. The challenges she faces with her garden every summer include the scorching sun, relentless heat and spotty rainfall.

Remember a couple of months ago when you were down in the dumps believing winter would never end? Soon, very soon, the grandkiddos will be splashing around in your pool and you'll forget all about chilly weather.

I wish you a safe and happy week ahead, dear friend YaYa!

I enjoyed your tour; glad to see the tomato plants doing well! I have to agree, I think I would wait just a bit before I went into the pool :)

Those chairs are so inviting! I think I'll sit awhile and enjoy your view!

Nice tour, but now I have to get my eyes checked. I'd swear the red chairs are pink.

It's still chilly in Ohio? It's HOT here in Nashville. 80 degree days, unfortunately. I could use an above-ground pool like that one!

Yaya, your yard and gardens are very inviting and clean. I love all your garden decors. Everything looks so colorful and cheery. I'll be right over, as soon as your blueberries are ripe. They look big...

I've been so busy here and the only time I sit down is at the computer when I'm resting my tired feet.

Thanks for the tour. I really enjoyed it.
Hugs,
JB

So happy I came by today and got a private tour of your beautiful home.
Everything looks so manicured and ready for summer. I love the owls. Never have seen these their too cute.
I could sure use that pool today because the rain is over for a few days and we are warm and sunny high in 90's.
Enjoyed this so much
Love ya
Maggie
