Room With A View
My computer room is a tiny little room on the second floor. I can come up here and blog, do whatever needs done with the computer. I do many tasks with it, despite what Jack thinks! He says I'm addicted to it or maybe to blogging..and perhaps he's right. As I look around the room it is, at this moment, cluttered and crazy and needs to be redone. Then I turn my head to the left and look outside and forget what is on the right. I can see Spring is trying to arrive..slowly this year. Rain is constant and although the grass is a lovely shade of green, I'm getting to feel a bit moldy! The pine trees contrast with the flowering trees and even though my drive is a bit muddy, it's still a pretty site. With all the tragedy in the world and all the political unrest happening and the gas prices that are through the roof, and many other aspects of my life that resemble the clutter and mess on my right side, I'm grateful that I can turn my head for a moment and enjoy my room with a view.

ah, yes! grab those moments while they are here. I did the same thing today. the day was unfolding into a beautiful clear sunny morning and I sat out on the deck
absorbing the very much needed Vit. D. Kept thinking of all the things that needed to be done but I decided not today. WE HAVE SUNSHINE !
anyway...those trees look so beautiful...we are so behind in our spring growth it's sad.
thank you for sharing this. It's always nice to visit you and read what's on your mind.
What a wonderful view. I too am feeling a little uneasy. so out I went after work and raked and just breathed the air. It is good to be home.
we have had good weather but rain is in the forcast.
Cathy
I have a half window view, eh, maybe a quarter...by my computer but it gives me a happy feeling to be able to look out and see green nontheless! I'm there with you, as usual.
I see trees out my blogging window, too.
=)
PS. I think I am a bit addicted to blogging, myself! But I've always written every day...It used to just be in a journal.
I love your trees. I really miss the one out front of our house. I enjoy blogging too! Thanks for getting me started. My book will be in this week. ;)
I love that you have such a nice view. I wish that we had one. Out of my window I see the house next door and our air conditioner and part of our storage container. Aren't you jealous?
PS. Love your new wallpaper! So springy...despite the weather! Will miss you tomorrow :-(
That's so pretty! I have a window but it just looks out on the street. Your view is magnificent!
Dear Yaya - my daughter Katie was here over the weekend and I didn't realize she'd been on my computer... the last comment was from me, so please don't be confused!
Haven't had time to visit in awhile and while I've been gone you changed your header:) It's beautiful. We have had lovely weather here. We're actually experiencing SPRING, rather than jumping so quickly from cold winter to hot summer. Today is very March-like...it's a little cool and quite windy, but still a beautiful day. It was so nice to sit on the deck this a.m. with my coffee and devotional. Loved this post...rather poetic!!!
You have an absolutely gorgeous view. I'm so jealous.
Such a lovely view you have! I feel the same - gratitude that I can look out my window to green and space and serenity.
So happy honey that you have such a beautiful view from your room especially while blogging. lol
It sounds so strange when I read about rain. Truly I have forgotten what it feels like and you guys are so tired of it.
In my part of Texas we are in the worse drought I can ever remember. Sad looking and scary too.
Just had to come by and wish you a very Happy Mother's Day my friend
Love ya
Maggie
That's a good analogy for life. You can choose to focus on the crazy messy or you can turn your head slightly and find beauty all around you. Love it!
