What does this:
Have to do with this?...in case you don't notice what's wrong here, fingers aren't suppose to bend at that joint unless you're a freak or something. Which now I guess I am. Background story first. I won a giveaway on Grandma Yellow Hair..I was really happy and it was fun to browse the selections (which were a ton!) at CSN online store. I decided it would be fun to try a slipcover to change out my decor a bit. I really like it. But you have to fit it on the couch. It was going on quite nicely. I was innocently pushing in the corners of my new slipcover when I felt my finger pop..pulled it out and it looked like this. Couldn't straighten out. I even tried pulling on it to see if I could fix it. HaHa...how dumb am I? I really don't have time for this. So I splinted it myself and I'll get a Doc to look at it tomorrow at work. If I need surgery, which I think I will, I'll just scream. That will be the strange sound that will be heard all over the world tomorrow. So the saying "there's no free lunch" is true huh? Well, I do still like the slipcover!
Another quiz:
What do country girls do for fun..when you're only 4, almost 2 and a young 57? Hop in an old lawn cart of course!
Addy liked having her big sis push her around..in a cart anyway!
Now it was YaYa's turn to push..and push..and get some exercise! Don't need a straight finger for that.

It really is a beautiful slip cover, too bad it came at such a high price. I hope it's an easy fix that won't inconvience you too much.
Oh No!! I guess FREE is not all it's "Cracked" up to be, huh?! Ha! Ha! Sorry, couldn't help myself!! ^_^ In all seriousness, I hope it doesn't call for surgery! Maybe it's just dislocated. I hope so!!
Poor you!!! Nice slip cover though....
That Addie is getting just too cute!!! And love Alexis's new do...very stylin'!
Hmmm, let me know about the finger...
Ouch!! it's a lovely slip cover, but, even free, me thinks it was too expensive. Hope it's easily fixed.
Your grandkids are gorgeous and I can imagine how much exercise they gave you. We have a Radio Flyer wagon and the kids would stay in it all day.
That looks dislocated!! I do not fancy being you right now, although that slip cover is really pretty!! ;-)
I wish you well with your finger. I hope it's an easy fix. What beautiful grandchildren you have.
Yay for grandmas! Especially ones that continue to play especially after an injury.
thank you do much for sharing!
Boy, you paid a heavy price...but you did get a great-looking slipcover...and a good fit, too!
Those kids are adorable.
=)
I love the picture of the girls! The picture of your finger gave me the heebie jeebies. lol! The slip cover does look awesome! I disn't even see it at your house. I'm thinking people were sitting on the couch??
So sorry about that finger! Hope it doesn't hurt as bad as my big toe when I had my recent case of gout!!! Like the slipcover. When I won a CSN giveaway I thought I'd never get through looking before decided on what to buy! It's been so hot here this summer that my grands haven't wanted to play outside. However, Granddaughter M asked me the other day if we could soon rake up a pile of leaves and jump in! Of course, we can!
Ouch......... get well soon, I can feel your pain my friend
