Linda from Wander to the Wayside sent me these two awards...Thanks so much! I really don't deserve them because I feel my little blog is just kind of boring compared to so many other ones I've read. But I really enjoy Linda's and I hope you head over to visit her there. Now there is an interesting gal! There are rules connected with these and I guess I'm suppose to tell 7 things about me and then send these awards out to 10 blogs I consider "Versatile" and or "Blogs of Substance"...Hmmm...this will take some time! I've enjoyed meeting people from all over the world who live amazing lives and are very talented and funny and just plain interesting reads. But here's a few I love..1)starkeyhollow...Donna and I go way back and she thinks her blog is just pics of grandkiddos. But it's really about life and love and family. 2)Amy at SparkDoggyDog...Ok, I know she's my daugher-in-law, but she's the reason I blog at all. She talked me into it as a way to send and receive family news and pics. It turned into a wonderful journaling tool and her pics of my grandkiddos never ceases to make me smile and laugh. 3)Justbetweenmeandyou...Maggie is hilarious! Read for yourself 4)Lifeiswhatyoumakeit...Karen from South Africa is a jewel who is learning how to shine on her own...love her posts.5)Wondersoflife..Rose doesn't except awards but I just had to do it! 6)Leisy at SummerinToledo..(or August as my blog says!)is the greatest blogger and I'm always amazed at how she lives on a budget while her hubby is in Med school and is raising 2 cute little guys. Her blog is a wealth of info from recipes, to freebies! Anyone who loves Toledo Ohio deserves an award!7)Cheryl at ScrubbyBush...I love her tales of the Australian outback and her love of animals...8)Catchthekids...Another fun Aussie! Love the posts about her family and adventures 9)Holyoke home is a very fun blog if you like restored homes like I do. 10)Bernie from Old who me?She probably has a ton of these but she's an amazing 84yr young blogger! Love her!...So I'm giving all these blogs both awards because I can't decide how to divide them up! Anyone interested in visiting these sites, just look to my sidebar and click!
Now for the 7 things about me..oh brother...I think I don't even have 7 interesting things to say but I'll give it a go...1)I love new socks. Can't wait to wear them! 2)I hate doing foot surgery..3)I love Snow White..when I was little all the "good" Disney characters were blond and blue eyed..not brown eyed and black hair like me..until I met Snow White..you go girl! 4)When I was a senior in high school I applied for a job at Disney World in the hopes of playing Snow White...really! Disney World had just opened up in the early 70's and I wanted to be my hero...I sent a resume(don't ask my what I said to qualify for Snow White)and they wrote back and said to come on down to Florida...but I would have to be a resident for 30 days before they could hire me...well, I tried to talk some friends into going with me so we could split the rent and ended up going to work in surgery for the summer instead...never left and now all I could play would be the wicked witch!5)My first and favorite job to this day was being a candy counter girl at a movie theater..6)I love real popcorn made on the stove.7)Saved my Sister and 2 younger brothers from our house when it was burning down..So that's me. Hello??? Anyone still awake??? Good night all and thanks for the awards Linda!

Ok, first off, I think saving siblings from house fire deserves it's OWN post, don't you?

And why don't you like foot surgery? I personally hate feet...they're just so goofy looking and sometimes even gross! The exception is munchkin feet (kids that is), and I could just gobble them up.

So glad to know these things about you, including the fact that you're a snow white wannabe. Sorry that didn't work out!

Thanks for the awards, and thanks for being a great friend, and I agree I HATE FEET, disgusting little things stuck way down, at the bottom of your body....

You ALWAYS make me laugh and even this did! " Wander" is right, the fire deserves it's own post, so do many of the other stories I've heard and laughed at...then maybe a few should remain between us!!! ha! Thanks for the very kind words...and yes! You'd have made a wonderful Snow White!!!!
