What Are The Pines Whispering?

When it's windy...like it is today...the pine trees do seem to be whispering.  What's on their minds?  First,  work has had it's moments this week.  Tuesday was a bit of long haul.  After starting work at 7am and finishing at 3:45...called back at 6:30 (I wasn't even on call but they needed some help)..home by midnight...up on Wednesday morning to get to work by 6:30 am...home early only to be called back at 1:30-5pm (I was on call this day)...up today and back at 7 to do Covid19 screenings until 1pm...and so it went.  It matched the crazy weather this week.  The Cleveland area had 3 honest to goodness tornado touchdowns on Tuesday night into early Wednesday.  This morning started out raining...then hail..then snow...then sleet....then rain...then sun..then sun while it rained...need I go on?  The whispering was coming out like a shout!  Stop the madness!  So I'm happy that tomorrow is Friday.  Good Friday to be exact. Because virus or no virus it's still Easter weekend.  We're joining our Church and others across the world and participating in a world wide fast and prayer day tomorrow for an end to this Covid19 mess and for the health of our families, friends, healthcare workers and others so we can get back to normal soon.  I hope our Whispering Pines send that message to the Powers that be heavenward.   Here's my pics for this week:
Anyone missing an Easter Bunny?
He's hiding in our Whispering Pines.  Sort of friendly but not friendly enough to catch him. I do believe he lives next door so hopefully he hopped on home!
I made this Easter lamb for my Granddaughters..Lex and Addy .  Since we can't be together I can leave this with their Dad for Sunday.  However it did remind me of something...or someone...or some Arnold:
A little Easter grass and candy, throw in a bow..just sayin' !  The Pines are whispering that it's time for bed...night all!

Hi, YaYa!

I am happy to receive communications from you at my place and yours, dear friend, and to know that you and your clan are AOK. What a crazy mixed-up week you had both at work and with your weather. Down here the weather has been stable, very little rain and only small variations in the heat and humidity that have settled in for the season.

That Easter bunny in the Creepy Woods looks fat and happy. Maybe the Yeti is keeping him as a pet and let him out of the den to tinkle. That Easter lamb does look a lot like Arnie. I hope it didn't spook the pup and make him think he is destined to become Sunday dinner. I notice you went back to calling your grandkiddo "Addy" after she was known as Rae or Rae Rae for a year or more. I'm confused! :)

Thank you for your dedicated service helping the community, dear friend YaYa. Keep well up there!

Now that's being too busy but I've been on that train before. It's hard to jump off when it's going full speed ahead.
I wish you a restful Easter weekend. Although we didn't get the crazy weather like you., I woke up this morning to about 4 inches of white fluffy snow on the ground. It looks beautiful but frankly, I was just getting used to the brown grass. I even raked another portion of the front lawn yesterday and cleaned the flowerbed by the big rock. Oh well, God is in control and I can't change a thing except for myself.

Your little lamb looks so nice. My mother in law had the same type of cake mold. I wonder where it went. I haven't seen it in years.
Happy Easter. 😘 Stay safe and healthy.
Hugs, Julia ❤️

Wow that is a crazy work schedule! And wow what a crazy weather pattern!! I did like the pictures of the bunny and the lamb cake. My sister made one yearly (lamb cake) when we were growing up. We have the hope of Easter and I know better days are coming up . We just need to patiently endure :)

Here in Michigan we are not even allowed to visit our family. Total confinement. We had ha horrible thunderstorm the other night with hail (no tornadoes though) and then it snowed the next morning then windy. Windy like the Wizard Of Oz wind. Your cake is just adorable and am sure it will be enjoyed immensely. Hope you have a nice Easter! Janice

Wow! You have had a lot going on. My sister is a nurse in a fairly large hospital (psych ward) and she says it's crazier than usual! I worry about her and pray for all nurses and medical people...so you are included:) Happy Easter to you...sure missed being in my church with my church family but thankful I could listen to my pastor via radio. You stay safe and I pray that things will settle down for you this week.
