Whooooossss Getting Ready For Fall?

Who??  Well, that would be me! I started to get the Fall decorations out and decided that,  since I'm behind,  I might as well get started on Halloween too! I scored this little guy at the hospital gift shop.  I need to quit going in there!
I started my Fall madness last weekend with a trip to the apple orchard and then made my first apple pie of the season.  It was yummy and I'm sure it won't be my last effort this year!
Wreaths hit the doors!
Greetings galore!
Pumpkins and ideas for Halloween costumes!  I love my little "Lori Mitchell" figures.
Cool LED candles sent from my son and his family....well, I must give the credit to my Daughter-in-law Amy and the kids.  They spotted them at Costco and new just what I would love!  Thanks guys,  they are perfect!
My friend, Shay,  gave me this picture last year after Halloween.  She found it at my favorite little shop..The Parsley Pot...and knew I had admired it and, since she found it on sale, she grabbed it and then gave it to me...I was floored! Thanks Shay!  If you were to see it in real life, the lights in the windows flicker so it looks like candle light and gives it a spooky look!
So Whooooossss getting excited about this season? You guessed it right....Me! I found this cute plate at...guess...yep, the hospital gift shop. I told you I need to stay away from there!   I've decided to have a giveaway to celebrate Fall.  I'll tell you all about it on Saturday.  See you then!

Yaya, I like that you are in the mood to decorate for Fall. You are way ahead of me. I only have a yellow potted Chrysanthemum by the front door and two potted hydrangeas that should have been planted already ages ago.

Love your decor and that pie is pure torture for my tummy. I'm drooling...

I'm almost done the pink scarf and will need to know where to send it.
Sorry about the deleted comment. I don't know why but it published before I was finished typing.
Hugs,

Wowie, dear YaYa! Your hospital gift shop has better stuff than Pier One Imports! (LOL) I love your fall and Halloween decorations. Shucks, I'm already seeing Christmas advertising on television!

Yessum, even here in Florida autumn is finally settling in. Last night the mercury plunged below 90 for the first time! :)

That spooky painting from Parsley Pot looks like the house where Norman Bates' mother lives. Maybe "lives" isn't the word I'm looking for!

I scratched the screen and sniffed and the aroma coming from that fresh baked apple pie has my mouth watering! Yummy yummy yummy! Please drop a sizable slice on the floor for my buddy Eddy, okay?

I hope you're having a fabulous week, dear friend YaYa. See you again soon!

I love the owls. I have an owl theme going on in my classroom this year. Can't get enough fall I suppose.

I got my decorations up too, I should do a post about it huh?

well I bought some mums yesterday and then pulled out the Halloween box. They are now sitting by the back door just waiting, waiting, waiting. I am really lagging behind this year~ love your haunted house, and owl. Those little led candles are wonderful, I bought several last year at Christmastime.

You are ready. Love those picture. I'm still hanging on to summer. Our parish fair is in a couple weeks. That will start fall for me.

I've never seen LED fall/halloween candles. We have small volitive LED candles that come each night around 8. I love 'em.

Cute stuff. I love owls too, and they seem to be gaining in popularity; I see all sorts of owl décor in stores nowadays.

You have such a lovely home. It looks much better than my little tikes graveyard. :)

Oooooh - you made me so excited for Autumn! It's starting to turn a little bit here, although the temps will be back up in the 90s tomorrow. But it's cooling off at night, which is nice. Your apple pie looked scrumptious!

You really are getting into it, aren't you? I love Fall. That pie looks like it could win a prize at the fair! It's beautiful.

Feels good to be catching up on some blogs tonight! Wow, you make an awesome looking apple pie!!! Bet it tastes just as good. In my mind, I don't get decorating for Fall until October 1st...which is fast approaching. With the kids being older I've leaned more into Fall decorations and toned down the Halloween a bit -- but I still love Halloween!!! You have some great decorations!

Love that picture. It reminds me of Norman Bates house from Psycho. Your pie crust looks perfect - tender and flaky. Martha Stewart-esque ;)

YAY! I put up all my Fall stuff right after Labor day and then I broke out the Halloween stuff last week! So fun! Too bad some of the stuff in the yard has already blown away! I'll have to post some pix of our halloween deco too! So glad you love the candles. We had to get a set too. Sadly our purple ones don't light up right and now they are sold out. I will probably just return them and then hope for some next year!

Oh, your pie looks amazing! I bet it tasted even better! I stayed home from church because Taylor has a miserable cold today and so I had lots of time to make rolls for dinner and a brownie pecan pie for after break the fast!
