Good Bye February, Hello Another Birthday

When I was a kiddo, I looked forward to the last day of February.   It's my birthday today and like when I was little, I looked forward to this day but not because it's my birthday.  I look forward to the hope of Spring in March!  This has been a cold and snowy winter.  There has been lots of illness at home and work.  Jack had the crud but got over it pretty quickly.  My boys had it too...some harder than others.  Co-workers called off and I got called in to help out.  Thankfully,  I haven't gotten it yet...I'm knocking on wood now!  I have been a slacker in the blogging world and I haven't even ordered my blog book like I do every year.  As I mentioned in a previous post I was scammed and we had to redo all our accounts and that was a huge pain and took up time and worry.  Thankfully I've put it behind me now and hopefully I'll get back on schedule with my blog.  I will get to reading my blog buddies posts this weekend and get caught up!  So for now I'll bid farewell to February and to being 71.  I'm the youngest I'll ever be at this moment so I'll celebrate that!  We had a fun day with some Sam's club and thrift store shopping and then we had a lovely dinner with friends this evening.  Stay well everyone and lets hope Spring brings good health, warm weather, and tons of sunshine!

I usually put in a pic of me to keep track of my wrinkles over the years so here goes:

Happy bday to me!

Hi, YaYa!

I've come out of blog hibernation to wish you a happy 71, dear friend! In my humble opinion, you look amazingly youthful. Keep in mind that you are merely a "spring chicken" compared to Shady who is four years older. Our family has two birthdays close to yours. Mrs. Shady's daughter was born on the 27th and today is Mrs. S's brother's b-day. He's the one from San Diego who visited us in January and February. He finally flew home Wednesday.

I'm sorry to hear about the illness around your family this winter and hope you slip through without catching anything. I must admit that even I am growing a little tired of the long cold winter by now and look forward to spring. However, I do not look forward to the long weeks of Florida-like heat we have experienced up here in summertime.

Once again, happy birthday, dear friend YaYa! I'll be back with a new post at Shady's Place a week from tomorrow and hope to see you then.

Happy birthday, even if a day late! You are looking GREAT, my dear! Why, even the planets lined up to look at you. 🌎 There, I left that picture of Earth for you since I think the world of you. Enjoy your birthday weekend, that's what I call the weekend after my birthday! Happy March!

Awww...Happy Belated Birthday! Yes, I'm ready to bid the cold and snow goodbye but I know it's far too early to do that here. I hope you don't get ill...it would concern me having to work in the setting you do. I know it's been a bad year for flus, etc. - I ended up spending 2 days/nights of my hospital stay in the ER because the hospital was full and had no rooms for me. And you look fabulous my friend!! ~Robin~ (PS...Do let us know who you find to do your blog book. The place I used went out of business. :-( )

Happy belated birthday. Hope it was a grand one. Knock on wood no one in my family or my co-workers have gotten sick. We are blessed thus far. March came in like a lion for us with strong winds...so hoping Spring will come soon and March will go out like a lamb. Janice

Hi Yaya, Happy belated birthday! The company I usually use to print my blog book each year has gone out of business. Please let me know if you find another good company to use, as I still want to print off my blog if possible. I hope you have a good week.
