Luna-tic!

Full moon last night as seen through our trees out back....Jack is so right...I should have used my tripod! (sorry for the blur!)  It was an amazing sky and moon. My camera doesn't do too great at moon shots but the clouds in the next pics were sort of interesting:
Hello moon!

Want to know the craziest thing? The thing that brought out the "luna-tic" in me? These were all taken around 6pm!  Hello darkness my old friend...the time has changed once again.

Those shots are really interesting. Somewhat scary, hah. I don't like the time change, but I guess we will once again gets used to it.

You got great pictures! I saw the moon coming up while I was doing the last of Koda's walk tonight; really full for sure! And you are right, pitch black by 6 p.m.

Hello, dear YaYa! Those pictures give me a chill. They look like the opening frames of the horror classic Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman. Those images make me wish I could camp out some night in your creepy woods... or maybe not. Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney, Jr. might show up.

I like your brand of luna-see. (Takes one to know one.) Please have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend YaYa, and give Eddy a biscuit if he comes over.

Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

Beautiful and haunting photos! I like the luna-tic!! It has seemed like bedtime at 6 this past week. And I agree. Crazy! But then, that's another song for another time.

Beautiful, but looks like a storm is brewing. You'll never guess what happened last weekend at the lake house..... It snowed! Boo yah! That's what I'm talking about.

Wow, great ghostly clouds around that moon. Our sky was overcast with rain so no full moon or werewolves for us last night. I wouldn't even have seen it even if it had come out. I went to bed shortly after supper, I was so tired and I needed to rest my aching back with muscle spasms. I'm a lot better today.

Have a great weekend Yaya.
Hugs,
JB

Those are great shots. Love the clouds around the moon. Kind of haunting and creepy. I don't like leaving work and it's almost dark but I do like not getting up in the dark in the morning

Those are eerie pictures.
I wish we'd opt out of the time changing thing. It keeps my system messed up for days after a change.

Some fun, moody shots here. The moon is a difficult subject to shoot well. You did great.

I like the title of your post. So appropriate. The shots are amazing. It seems like the sky is going crazy with clouds. Like Joanne says those could have been Halloween clouds. Thanks for sharing.
