Easter fun starts with some food of course: Ham, some Greek food, and the Lamb cake that's been part of my holiday since childhood. The most fun part is family: Anthony, Driana, Summer, Cameron and we are adding Amanda and her little one Alexis, Phil's new family to be. In April! The egg hunt is on with Anthony and his Dad scouring out the hidden treasures. Day is not complete without PawPaw rocking a baby! Happy Easter!

After work
Since it was such a beautiful sunny day I thought I would venture out in the neighborhood. The cool weather means we still are heating with wood, which means Jack and Jordan are the chopping, hauling, splitting and storing woodsmen! Good job. This is a pic of the lovely wood splitter. Best investment this year.(Stock market has sucked big time) I then decided to take a nice walk down my country road to my favorite place for cute stuff. The Parsely Pot! Found a few cute things for Easter but the walk and scenery were the best

Winter: IT'S BAAAAACCKKK!
Only in Ohio does it go from spring and 65 degrees to snnoowwww in a blink of an eye. Here's Jack the great snow shoveler just getting started on one of many shoveling jobs. Our sweet neighbor across the road came and plowed us out twice so far. I made it fine to the Cleveland airport and picked up Grandma (who looks pretty in pink) and Midge on Friday morning, but by the time we hit 71 we were in for a scary ride. Saw a semi-truck jacknife in front of us, 3 cars collide, a police car, 3 or 4 smashed cars and many in ditches. Luckily the Lord was driving because my palms were sweating! We made it home with no mishaps. We weren't able to make it to the women's conference down at the Mohican Lodge in Loudonville, but we've been having a fun, relaxing time here. Plenty of movies, magazines, laughs, and food to go around. The scenery is pretty if you're not driving in it! Church has already been cancelled for tomorrow, but I really need to keep thanking Heavenly Father for our safe drive and fun weekend. Haven't been able to get the video of the snow fall for Craig to load, but I'm still learning this blogging stuff.
